I had a lot of fun spending the afternoon with these kids.  As children tend to, they took breaks in between shots to play by the water and just run around.  I tried to get as many shots of this as I could as I like these natural moments of the kids being themselves.  Posed shots, even when well executed, just don’t capture the moment as these candid shots do.  I practice this style of shooting regardless of my subject, whether it be a wedding or a studio portrait.  I feel these natural moments define the character of the subject better than any posed shot ever will.
